The agreement states that the joint venture will operate the airports for 40 years. A master plan for updating the airports was presented even before the handover, on March 22, 2017, including the offering of free WiFi connection, upgrading sanitary facilities, expanding and remodeling the terminal, a new fire station, increase of check-in counters from 12 to 16, increase of departure gates from 6 to 7 and increase of security check lanes from 4 to 5 in the first stage set to be finished in 2021.
