Rental Cars – The car hire companies at Mykonos airport can be found in the Arrivals, All Users Area of the airport terminal. Please follow the instructions from your rental car company on where to park the rented vehicle and where and how to return the keys. Please remember to collect your belongings and check the vehicle for any damage before returning it.

BusesMykonos Bus Service offers transit buses from Mykonos Town/Chora to the airport. Tickets are bought from the driver upon boarding the bus or at the bus terminals. The bus stop is located right outside the terminal.

Airport Shuttles and Private TransfersMany hotels offer to arrange an airport shuttle service to their guests upon request and for an additional fee. A range of private transfers are also available to and from Mykonos Airport.

Taxis – Wherever you are located on the island it is possible to transfer to Mykonos airport using a taxi. If you are far from the airport make sure to allow some time for the taxi to arrive to pick you up, most hotels can help with the arranging of the taxi. The journey from Mykonos Town/Chora costs around 15€ and journey time is around 10-15 minutes. The fare and travel time will vary depending on distance and traffic as the taxis are metered.

There are four shops at the airport, including the Hellenic Duty Free Shops available for departing travelers that have cleared the security control. The other three shops are located in the Departures, All Users Area, available for all travelers and visitors.

Connect Phone offers travelers SIM cards with internet and speaking time for Greece, Europe and other countries as well as mobile phone accessories such as chargers and Bluetooth.

Smoking at Mykonos International Airport

Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the airport, but is allowed outside the entrances and exits.

Disabled Persons and PRM at Mykonos International Airport

Disabled Persons and Persons with Reduced Mobility may request for assistance during their time at the airport. This assistance should be requested through the airline or the travel agency at least 48 hours ahead of the flight’s scheduled departure time.

Passengers about to depart from the airport are asked to report their arrival either at the airline check-in desk or at the designated PRM desk where they will be assigned the assistance within 20 minutes if they have requested the assistance at least 48 hours in advance of the departing flight and within 45 minutes if it has been requested closer to departure.

Passengers arriving on a flight will be met at the gate within 20 minutes if the assistance has been requested at least 48 hours before the departure of the flight and within 30 minutes if it was requested later.
