Ferries to and from Mykonos
Mykonos has two main ports, the Old Port and the New Port, both located close to Chora, or Mykonos Town as it is also called. The Old Port is 1.5 km from Chora while the New Port is in Tourlos 3 km from Chora. The Old Port mostly serves smaller vessels, while most ferries from Athens and the rest of the Cyclades are served in the New Port, although weather conditions might change it temporarily so it is wise to check for confirmation of which port the ferry will arrive at or depart from.
Mykonos has direct ferry connections with 45 ports around the Greek islands and the mainland, but they are also used for cruises and boat or yacht tours as activities for the day along with some small boat ports in some of the other villages.
